Tribute to Liberty

The Memorial to Victims of  Communism is a National Monument located in Ottawa, Ontario in the Garden of Provinces. Tribute to  Liberty is the Canadian Charity that promoted the project. It was started in 2008, and the monument was unveiled in 2024.

The Board of Directors includes individuals from the Estonian, Latvian, Czechia, Ukrainian, Croatian, Vietnamese, Polish and Korean communities in Canada.

Latvian Cooking is published by the Ladies Auxiliary of The Latvian Relief Society of Canada “Daugavas Vanagi".
It is a popular sought after cookbook featuring traditional Latvian recipes as well as many others. Originally it was written in Latvian, but now is available in English.
It was first printed in 1985, and it has been re-printed 17 times.
